The MicroPeel® is a safe and effective procedure that can be customized to meet the needs of all skin types. This unique 3-step process starts with either a physical or enzymatic exfoliation of the skin through a process called Dermaplaning or with Biomedic Pure Enzyme to remove the dead cellular layers. Next, an AHA solution is applied to the skin to help free pores of impacted debris. There are three different strengths of acid that can be used or it can be acid free for the sensitive skin patient. Finally, Cryogenic Therapy, or a light freezing of the skin, is performed to relieve inflammation and cool the skin. Most patients will notice an immediate change in their skin after one peel and will leave with a radiant glow. There is no down time with this procedure.
The MicroPeel® Plus is a thirty-minute in-office procedure that will help smooth fine lines and even skin discoloration while reducing the appearance of acne scars and environmental damage to the skin. Available in two concentrations of salicylic acid, the MicroPeel® Plus can be tailored to fit different skin types and goals. The MicroPeel® Plus procedure stimulates cell turnover through the application of salicylic acid in the form of microcrystals. The DermaSweep is a state-of-art precision non-invasive exfoliation and skin revitalizing system.
The DermaSweep uses a variable vacuum system and an assortment of treatments tips, the DermaSweep wand gently lifts the skin against the appropriate treatment tip, removing the top most layer of skin.
The system then vacuums away the dead skin in a precise and controlled manner. The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow, cleans the pores and removes the skin debris.
