The MicroPeel® is a safe and effective procedure that can be customized to meet the needs of all skin types. This unique 3-step process starts with either a physical or enzymatic exfoliation of the skin through a process called Dermaplaning or with Biomedic Pure Enzyme to remove the dead cellular layers. Next, an AHA solution is applied to the skin to help free pores of impacted debris. There are three different strengths of acid that can be used or it can be acid free for the sensitive skin patient. Finally, Cryogenic Therapy, or a light freezing of the skin, is performed to relieve inflammation and cool the skin. Most patients will notice an immediate change in their skin after one peel and will leave with a radiant glow. There is no down time with this procedure.
The MicroPeel® Plus is a thirty-minute in-office procedure that will help smooth fine lines and even skin discoloration while reducing the appearance of acne scars and environmental damage to the skin. Available in two concentrations of salicylic acid, the MicroPeel® Plus can be tailored to fit different skin types and goals. The MicroPeel® Plus procedure stimulates cell turnover through the application of salicylic acid in the form of microcrystals. These microcrystals target the exact areas on the skin that need improvement and loosen the bond (cohesion) of dead cells within the follicle canal. The MicroPeel® Plus aggressively outperforms other superficial chemical peels by promoting healthy cell renewal while doing no damage to the skin. This peel is ideal for acne skin and prematurely aged skin.
The Pigment Peel Plus is a modified TCA peel with 20% salicylic acid, designed for even, consistent application and depth. This peel is specifically designed to exfoliate damaged skin and promote deep skin rejuvenation by penetrating the papillary dermis. The Pigment Peel Plus is formulated to treat stubborn hyperpigmentation , the appearance of fine lines, and acne scars which epidermal peels are not always able to achieve.
Developed in Italy, microdermabrasion is clinically proven for treating fine lines, wrinkles, scars, age spots, stretch marks and signs of aging skin. It uses fine crystals to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin, removing dead cells and leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. This gentle deep-tissue exfoliation technique uses ultrasonic waves and is recommended for sensitive skin. Similar to the crystal microdermabrasion technique, it activates the collagen fibers in the skin for ongoing improvements with absolutely no down time. This treatment is completed with deep penetrating antioxidants and a hydrating mask. Ultrasonic microdermabrasion can be combined with other therapies for a total approach to skin rejuvenation.
