The MicroPeel® is a safe and effective procedure that can be customized to meet the needs of all skin types. This unique 3-step process starts with either a physical or enzymatic exfoliation of the skin through a process called Dermaplaning or with Biomedic Pure Enzyme to remove the dead cellular layers. Next, an AHA solution is applied to the skin to help free pores of impacted debris. There are three different strengths of acid that can be used or it can be acid free for the sensitive skin patient. Finally, Cryogenic Therapy, or a light freezing of the skin, is performed to relieve inflammation and cool the skin. The MicroPeel® Plus is a thirty-minute in-office procedure that will help smooth fine lines and even skin discoloration while reducing the appearance of acne scars and environmental damage to the skin.
